I was really wondering why the days-left counter was ticking down and while I've had my DDDT buckets out every day, I've found not a drop.

I really hate to add to the signal to noise ratio but....

Can we just leave this thread (or better yet start a thread exclusively for) for actual NEWS about this project. Several dozen pages ago the general consensus was that just that, people would post here only when something was actually going on or as a heads up that units were available. With that in mind I (& quite a few others I'm sure) set their notifications to get an email whenever there is a new post here as that would be the signal to go change their preferences to gather up the rare DDD2 units.

Lately it has become more like getting so many emails that turn out to be false alarms that it is like the boy who cried wolf. All I'm asking is that we either go back to this thread being only for available work alerts (or better yet start a new thread for just that - perhaps as a sticky that only mods/admins can post in. That way if I get an email regarding THAT thread I know that I want to read it). I am (mildly) interested in the chit chat about the project & how many days you need for the next badge (110 for me if anyone cares), or other non-vital gossip. I just don't want to get a constant barrage of emails about it.
