Hey Judson. If you would like, go to my website and send me an email. I would like to talk to you via email and see if we can somehow compare your two systems with each other and with a couple of mine. Just for Grins. smile

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 46smilesmile

RT, I too just ordered, Sunday, a new AMD 6 core 3.2 Ghz processor, motherboard and all the other required parts to build a new computer. Had been meaning to do it for some time but $$$. Not sure the wife's reaction, Ralph my dog may be in the house and I out. Have never had a AMD processor driven maqchine before so curious how the Thurbon 45 nm (I believe) compare with my Intel i7-3.33, 4 core and 5440-2.83,dual 2 core processors. Good morning by the way. coffee coffee

OK -- I may not be building it, but I will be adding a system to my farm shortly. I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad (why does everything have to be a Pad?) with an i5 processor. This page Lenovo Y560 is close. Not sure what my sons added to run it up anoher hundred bucks.

TigerDirect always lists some refurbished laptops that are priced pretty low. Here is an example.

Another option is a netbook. Dell, HP and others sell them. I have 2 (I don't know why) but you can get them from between $200 and $300. Usually they have Intel Atom processors and have either 10 or 12" screens. No cooling fans to wear out. I like them.

Re: smilesmile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 46smilesmile

Some notes for today:

Extra congrats to Barney for his persistence! Here's to the half-mil mark next! Great points here lately too! applause

pramodp has become pretty regular in our Top Twenty! That's coming back in style. biggrin

We're on a nice run lately. 557K is our worst day in the past week and you have to go back to the middle of last month to get to anything below 500K. A lot more 600K+ days lately. We also just pushed our daily average over 490K points per day as of today. Amazing!

Alain has been on a tear lately. I hope it lasts a long time.

Rej, that's some really nice production!

Marc, what's the countdown at now?

DA, are you still in Brussels?
