Fear hat would be against a reasonable runtime policy as WCG tries to maintain. Moreover, with the length of some of these checkpoints, switching the device off in the middle of job 16 would be disastrous. Crunching 20 hours for nop.
----------------------------------------I would not mind running HCMD2 all the way to the end [as an option] to improve efficiency. There's a topic on that in the respective forum. Short checkpoints so it's fine to interrupt these.

The advanced search box with RC AND 0x1 AND skipping spits out some ten hits:
----------------------------------------http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...=0&sort=1&rows=20 So the answer is... Yes, we've seen it before and we've got some 3 of these variations on "RC ...." in CEP2 logs :D

I have a problem with a beta WU.
----------------------------------------https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/devi...s.do?workunitId=203371863 On my computer it got valdiated. My question is, what happens if the other wingmen have this error: CreateProcess() failed - The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail. (0x36b1) or don't reply. Will I loose the cpu time or not? I really need it to get the badge :) |

I really need it to get the badge :) Got the prozac on hand? ;o) Beta policy, actually all science policy is: Stats will be added on for all CPU time, points, results, except when there is no time reported. If time is zero, than the result is ignored for all stats categories. PS, links to results don't work on the forum. Only you can see your results, so copy/paste of information is needed.

Don't need it. Just need one more WU so I can take the bronze, and disconnect from the beta project. For that WU, I'm in PV, while two others have received the above error, and a fourth one is in progress. Thing is, although I'm in PV, the cpu time did not add to my statistics. |

The "P" in "PV" is for "Pending". Only when actual validation tests are run will the result be added and or will be given an "inconclusive" (Pending RE-Validation) and more wait state time is required for the verification job to be returned. Yes, patience is a virtue in our crunching world :D

I really need it to get the badge :) Got the prozac on hand? ;o) Finally got my badge. Now I can pass on the prozac and the beta WUs. Too much micro during the past 5-6 months. Time to focus on HCC, where 3 cores under Ubuntu in Virtualbox ~ 6 cores on Win host :) |
