Re: Please Join "My efforts against Childhood Cancer" team!

Thank you, Captain, and the picky ones
will just feed the donuts to the ducks

Since you mention Finns drinking alcohol I dare to come with
the very harsh description of Finns
- not in my own, as I think I said somewhere but -
in my mothers geography book which was printed
long before Political Correctness was born:

"The Finns drink a lot and fight with knives"
Well, this postulate has marked this Dane for life ...
Hey, and now I have met the only one that doesn't drink
- pssstt, Captain, how about the knife-fight thing?

Knife fighting would have been true 100 years ago, but not anymore. We are the same as other scandinavians. Drinking culture is just a bit different.

Re: Please Join "My efforts against Childhood Cancer" team!

My mother's geography book must have been about 100 years old
- and therefore correct in its time
- and it scared me.
Why did you fight with knives?
- and why did you stop?

Well knifes are part of our culture. Easy to make and hide in the 1800s and early 1900s. Nokia have replaced knives in our culture. First nokias were good in a fight (joke).

I've been known to eat some lutefisk is that on the menu?
Reindeer sounds good too though i've never tried it. It must be similar to elk.
