Reindeer sounds good too though i've never tried it. It must be similar to elk.

See, Captain: Talk food and drink and Base Campers shoot up all over the place!
devilish cool batting eyelashes coffee
So you ate lutefisk - did you like it?
It's Norwegian and I think I served it for us at one recent trek
where I dreamed up all kinds of interesting meals
- but they may eat it in Finland, too, our captain will know
- but I know it's a Washington State thing because of the Norwegian segment there.
I think I mentioned my Norwegian ship chandler customer in New Bedford, Massachusetts,
who talked of nothing but the lutefisk
they were having shipped in from your state from now until Christmas, TLD.
Did you ever go to Povlsbo?

So, we're in a challenge by proxy. Good move, Captain good luck

I'm sure lutefisk isn't very popular here :D Smell might be too much and i don't eat fish.

Cold smokes salmon is very popular

Wash it down with salmiakkikossu:

Re: Please Join "My efforts against Childhood Cancer" team!

It's nice trekking with you, Captain. We have not eaten this well
since PecosRiverM fired up a BBQ the size of half of Texas.

Well, I remember serving quite nice meals at one trek also and one of the dishes was lutefisk.
Even as it was imaginary lutefisk it sounded so bad in my taste center that I could not eat it.
How did you like the real stuff, TLD?
Cold smoked salmon is delicious - we eat it a lot in Denmark, too, Captain.
And now - with the fish farms - it's affordable, but still regarded a luxury tongue

The Samiakkikossu is easy to make.
Tyrkisk Peber (Turkish Pepper) Shots
All you need is vodka, Tyrkisk Peber (originally Danish), which is a hard candy,

and three days of patience for the candy to dissolve in the vodka.

Well, Captain, you don't eat fish, and you don't drink booze
- you do - I suppose - eat reindeer (and as sunfolk mentioned: don't tell your little girl)
- and you probably eat your girl's mothers delicious cake ...
What do you drink? Milk, tea, coffee, coke, tap water?
What is daily fare in Finland?

She could have a business doing that!
Maybe she has - does she?
The funniest part must be the decorating - the pink swirl is very creative
- and yes, please, we would appreciate one more tomorrow with coffee and milk. tongue

So we/Denmark won in the end cool not bad after being behind ...

She have thought about it yes, but she is working in Alko part time. Maybe in the future.

Alko Inc. is an independent limited company wholly-owned by the Finnish Government and administered and supervised by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

Alko is an essential element of the Finnish alcohol system, which aims to regulate alcohol consumption and curb its adverse effects.

Alko’s activities and the exclusive right to the retail sale of alcoholic beverages containing more than 4.7% of alcohol by volume are based primarily on social and health policy.
