While not quite enough for a record day, we certainly sure came close! We're very close to an average day of 700,000 points but already enough to be on pace for a 255 million point year. It's amazing that we're already on a pace to more than beat our goal so we ought to seriously think about raising it. 300 million would require a daily average of almost 822K; 275 million a daily average of over 753K. We should pass our 2007 output next month, 2008 about the end of April, and 2009 in early summer. We could pass 2010 in September possibly. 275 million would be a 45% increase over last year, 300 would be 58%. What do you folks think?

 Good Morning Team I have no idea what the goal should be. I plan on running a little more this year than last but even though I have let go of some of my older crunchers, my electric bill is still high and my wife a little off-put by it all. |

i'm a number geek (probably not that odd in this group) and the talk about goals made me think about the beginning. The amazing thing is that our daily average this year is greater than our first 49 days combined.

Electricity is an issue but the newer machines should be much more efficient. Some of my machines generate less then one hundred points per hour but most produce way over. Not directly related to eletricity use but probably indirectly. Any idea the average power usage to generate 100 points with a machine that do so in one hour?
