Re: UK

Nice going chaps.

Shame about the GFX card TMC.

When you mentioned "speccy" there jonnieb, a nostalgic hazy mist fell as I remember my dear old ZX Spectrum. aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh the joys of the rubber keys, JetPac, Jet Set Willy, Manic Miner.............................

Re: UK

The Spectrum 48k rubber-keys was my third computer! Used to love making my own games in BASIC, with it.

Prior to that, I had a ZX81, and before that the original wood-veneer-look Atari 2600! biggrin

Ahh, those were the days...

Re: UK

I moved from a ZX81 with 16k ram pack up to the rubber key Speccy then on to the 128k+2.
Following on I then went to the Amiga 500 and my first HDD, 50 meg then Amiga 1200. I upgraded this to 1meg of ram so I could play Dungeon Master, what a game! Spent a lot of hours playing that. My 1200 was also my first foray in to the world of crunching with the RC5 over at distributed.net with a team of fellow Amigans.
Then on to the PC, can't remember the first one but upgraded to homebuild Duron800mhz, bought a dualie then to the i7 I've got now.
