If you have Windows Update set to automatically install updates, it may have troed upgrading you to IE8 without your knowing it. If that went kablooie, that could be your problem. Quick fix would be to just disable feeds in Internet Options in IE. Most likely, the right fix would be to confirm you have IE installed and just uninstall it since you don't use it.

I do have Windows Update set to automatically install updates. I tried to start IE to investigate what I would be able to do and I got an error message which I sent to Microsoft. I have not been able to start IE to disable anything since that time. I assume I will need to reboot to remove any record that IE failed to start and then try to start IE. I will then be able to see what level of IE is on my system. And I may be able to disable Microsoft Feeds, but I don't know how to do that yet.

Okay, I'm a bit concerned. You okay RT? May be busy with grandkids or some work I hope.


Sorry I have been completely covered up with kids all over the place and some unnecessary and unwanted drama...nothing too serious. In addition, I got 3 new websites waiting and one pc customer that needs a win 7 upgrade. I am fine...apart from losing some sleep. Kids / grandkids all healthy and life is good. Hope everyone is well and happy also.
