Re: 4 of my 5 Failed, calling for DebugBreak

Lawrence, that's a coded value set by WCG techs [different for each science], that makes HFCC/FAAH tasks abort [both AutoDock] if the output files grow above 300MB for the task [the result upload is like 200K in the end]. His log values say the device is allowed to use 10 GB disk space (default) and he has 181GB free. For now, looks like the device is generating massive output streams.

Re: 4 of my 5 Failed, calling for DebugBreak

Now, I've set everything back to default, except I upped the page file usage to 60%. Now, apparently my disk space is only 47.68 MB!

Am I ever going to be able to finish a project?

Now I'm getting this:

If this message does not suggest the solution, look in the FAQs for the document on disk space.

Re: 4 of my 5 Failed, calling for DebugBreak

Pardon, Astrolabe, but disk space on my end, is not the problem.

The real problem? I have no points and nobody knows why!?

I'm a newbie, I know! But I do want to help out and Crunch! I'm actually putting together a dedicated cruncher. But what's the point if I can't actually help because the projects keep aborting!?!?!?!

What am I doing wrong? Everything is at default values, website and local, except for the page files, I upped them to 60% usage. I have a mild OC of a 1.1 Duron to 1.4, I know, hardly seems worth it! It does help a little. Soon, This Old Comp, as I've named it, will have an XP 2600 in it. That will be MORE acceptable?

Anyways, I need help and I'm not really getting any because of my ignorance and/or lack of explanation.

None of my Team-mates have had this problem, so I came here, to the source!

Re: 4 of my 5 Failed, calling for DebugBreak

Arjai's, your system is causing massive data streams and failing on when the workfile output exceeds the science limit [which is different for each science]. Let us know what comes of a SN2S result test, but I'm skeptic. Did you do the OC down to stock and get any valid results?

Re: 4 of my 5 Failed, calling for DebugBreak

I switched to the BOINK manager, as per a teammate that once crunched with a Duron, and that solved it!

It's been running ever since and I added ABC@Home and it's running error free also.
