Maybe some automatic updates by microsoft if you are using windows caused a reboot. I had to login to restart my systems yesterday and today. I don't the BOINC managed work units automatically restart when the system is rebooted... Can anyone verify this?

As I recall, I did apply some MS updates in the last couple of days. If you have Windows set to automatically install those, that normally requires a reboot. I have my systems set to just download and notify me. I decide when to install them. That lets me control when the reboot happens. BOINC will autostart on reboots if you have it in your start menu (that's a BOINC install option) but the start menu doesn't kick in until after user Windows login. If the updates auto-install and reboot your machines, I believe they'll be left sitting at the Windows login waiting for you to select an id and enter its password.

New news from Dr. Mike! Looks like he has an offer in St. Louis, Missouri that he REALLY likes.

That is good news---we had some power outages since going to work in Maine and there is nobody at home that is computer literate--we lost power for three days from those bad storms--some folks still don't have power down there---
