Hi Dave
----------------------------------------On the knee... I had the operation on Feb 8 so I have had time to recover. Actually, the knee is, all things considered, great! Of course it will not do the things that a natural knee will do (bend beyond 120 degrees mainly). But it is virtually pain free. I walk without a limp for the first time in over 5 years and forget all about it most of the time. It cost a bunch but ... hey, I paid for my kids’ education and they should carry their own weight now (Not really complaining. They do ... mostly). I don't want to leave them too much. I can't really complain too much about anything although it is one of my bad habits (like good wine (and Scotch)). When I think about it, I am better off than the vast vast majority and a good deal of that is due to luck. Soo glad you guys are all here and are friends even if we never meet. (Except Gerald. We met once when he was in Texas - Thinking back on it, we should have at least have had lunch..as it was, it was just almost a driveby exchange.) Good evening everyone! |
