Seal, I think your system setup is cooked as we roll from one problem into the next. Would have to guess what that last error is... a storage/access issue? Maybe a FreeBSD expert can help out... know only the Canonical distros (..buntu family].

Re: Boinc-client 7.0.28 and uploading problem to http://worldcommunitygrid.org !

i found solution on world community grid wiki
http://wcg.wikia.com/wiki/Maximum_disk_space_exceeded

Each task has a built-in size limit. If this limit is exceeded, then the task is aborted. This limit is usually much lower than the total disk size limit that you set in your preferences.

The limit is stored in the <rsc_disk_bound>n</rsc_disk_bound> element in the work unit definition.

my question - what parameter i should use??

Re: Boinc-client 7.0.28 and uploading problem to http://worldcommunitygrid.org !

<rsc_disk_bound> is set by the WCG staff during the creation of the work unit. It is not accessible to members. Your boinc.exe is not handling it correctly but that may be because of an error earlier in the code. For that matter, people are running into serious bugs in the standard BOINC 7.0.28 that are fixed in 7.0.31 - 36.

tired I do not know whether to recommend persistence or moving to a more recent build.

Re: Boinc-client 7.0.28 and uploading problem to http://worldcommunitygrid.org !

Seal1970, did you compile boinc_client by GCC from the base FreeBSD system? If yes, then several versions of FreeBSD have GCC with incorrect handling of the -ffast-math flag or more precisely with the -ffinite-math-only flag. Remove OPTIMIZE flag from the boinc_client's port dialog or update your system to the recent RELENG_9, that has corrected GCC. By the way boinc_client-6.4.5 version unconditionally set the -ffast-math flag and if GCC has -ffinite-math-only bug, then 6.4.5 also will not work.
