Re: Updated Science Application for Help Conquer Cancer v7.05

All you need to do is place these files in your projects/www.worldcommunitygrid.com/ directory: http://www.mediafire.com/?ipib9b3bdhb0hby

You can right click > edit the file to your needs. You generally don't want to run any CPU work units with this, just set the count to 1 / numProcessorCores. By default the app_info above is set for 8 cores.

Restart BOINC for changes to take affect.

Re: Updated Science Application for Help Conquer Cancer v7.05

One strange thing I am noting is that the second image appears to take much longer than the first to complete. I am concluding this because I would have expected the checkpoint value to be approx half of the total runtime.

What I am seeing is often more in the ratio of x:3x or x:4x (x being the checkpoint time)

Hi coolstream,
There are speed problems in updating the percent completed. Some systems show less than 50% (even 0%) for the first image. Please ignore this bug. The staff are aware of it.
