You are sending all tasks for Windows and not GPU?

There are only CPU WU's for this sub-project. And I am receiving them for both my OS's: Mac OS X and Win 7.

Cheers peace

Re: New work for target07 available for Computing for Clean Water

I've been looking around and haven't seen anything like a list of targets for this project, does anybody know if the new target 7 WU's are going to conclude this project?

It's currently unknown. The scientists themselves probably don't have an answer either.

You are correct, this is a CPU only project. You can review the system requirements for each project here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq

Also, on a side note I have doubled the slots in the feeder for Computing for Clean Water.

Thanks,

Re: New work for target07 available for Computing for Clean Water

I got a few WU for C4CW version 6.40 and now for 6.41. These new ones take 50% longer to complete.

Re: New work for target07 available for Computing for Clean Water

In my Win 7 64-bit i7-3770 rig (7.0.42), 6.40's (probably 32-bit app) take longer to compute, than 6.41's (guessing 64-bit app). And in PC with MAC OS X (7.0.31) I am receiving only 6.42's since the re-start of C4CW thinking

Anyway, all of them are crunched w/o problems biggrin

Cheers and NI! peace

Re: New work for target07 available for Computing for Clean Water

on the 64 / 32 bit issue. If your computer can handle both types, then BOINC will test both versions and decide which of the two your computer is better equipped to handle. Some 64 bit processors actually run the application slower than the 32 bit processor set.

Hope this helps,
