I decided to do a fresh install of Linux Mint to upgrade to 15 from 14 and to clear a few of my glitches which were part of my Linux learning curve
----------------------------------------![]() after this total new install and getting BOINC 7.0.65 I find the following change when running benchmarks. Is this still the way benchmarks are done or is it now calculated during the normal crunching routine? with Mint 14: Floating Point Speed: 2,269.04 million ops/sec Integer Speed: 8,598.09 million ops/sec with Mint 15: Floating Point Speed: 1,742 million ops/sec Integer Speed: 8,646 million ops/sec Seems that 14 likes this rig better...I wonder why? ![]() |
