Heads up for anyone chasing a BETA badge:

There's a large BETA test underway! biggrin

Mapping Cancer Markers Beta Test - Version 7.29
We will be starting a new version of Mapping Cancer Markers that addresses a checkpoint issue with certain work unit types. This test will be rather large. We request that during this beta test you attempt to perform at least 1 restart. You can do this by either suspending the work unit with "Leave Application in Memory" turned off or by restarting your computer.

The version being tested on BETA will be version 7.29. All PC versions will be tested.

I meant to comment at the time of the previous test - It appears that WCG has tweaked the feeder settings to limit download to 1 per core which I suppose means a fairer distribution but adds to the time it takes to collect BETA badges.

The Validator for BETA work is currently OFF and no completedWUs have as yet been validated. Thus yesterday's stats maybe marginally undetstated.

12:20 Validator is still off. Expect the lunchcrunch stats to be understated. Validator should be turned on sometime today.
