Had a quick chat with azzaka, he's currently having a few issues with his old server, so is in the process of configuring up a replacement server that's quite a bit more powerful than his old one. Hopefully, he should be back crunching with us, in a few days or so...

Saw this post and response which might be of interest:

It seems that the era of >100MB uploads is here. Sitting in my transfer list, waiting until the dead of night to be uploaded, is E219485_733_I.58.C52H24N4O2.00246138.1.set1d06_1_4. Weighs in at 101.51 MB.

These work units that are running are using a larger molecule than normal. This as well as the increase from 12 hours to 18 hours for the cutoff has caused the result size to creep up in size. These larger molecules should run their course through the grid probably by next Monday. The work units after that should be back to normal size.

I've noticed that with these larger molecule WUs checkpoint 1 occurs ~45 mins and checkpoint 2 not until ~14hrs!

The BETA Validator was still off at midnight meaning the stats will definitly be understated tomorrow morning. sad

I'll guesstimate around 40 RTd short
(62 members active today x 4 hrs average length * 4 average cores per member)
