Got a few units with 3 day deadlines (original sends).
----------------------------------------Are these all going to have 3 day deadlines or is this a mistake ? (I also got a few re-sends with less than 1 day deadline after others errored out) Paul.

The first batch of 10,000 work units was set to a 3 day deadline so we can get these results back to the researchers faster. The rest of the work units will be sent with a 10 day deadline after that.

Warped, please check to see if the one-day deadline is a resend, should be a result with _2 or _3, anything above 0 and 1.

Same here. The resend is for tomorrow and went right to panic mode. Both previous wingmen errored with "too many exits"

Ok, the automatic method for resends is to do 40% of the original deadline. There is a feature request to change that to 40% or original deadline, whichever is further out. In this case it would have given you a deadline of 3 days because these results came back with an error so quickly.
But if they were a resend due to the machine not responding in the original deadline, then the resend would be 40%. Like I said a feature request and not implemented yet. Right now a 1 day deadline is unique only because the original deadline was 3 days. Normal work units will have 10 day deadline or 4 day for resends. Thanks, -Uplinger |

We have a few hosts that consistently report errors immediately, this causes the resends to go out quickly.
