ECD is something like beginning of Sep.
----------------------------------------Too bad that they are adding only LITTLE, by LITTLE...as I need a year & a half work to add it to get to my 50y D badge...so it's just optional now! ;) |

Since I have recently learned the following information from WCG there is no calculable end date. However I will still attempt to track the progress as it occurs. A big thanks to the WCG staff for making this available. I have decided to leave the original quote in for the time being as it still addresses the question of additional work. This past week an additional estimate of 4000 more batches were added.
----------------------------------------Recently another estimated 5,000 batches were added to the project. We are not able to say the exact number of additional batches that will be added in the future, but we are fully expecting to receive more work units for the Mapping Cancer Markers project. The researchers will turn to other cancer-type work units when the current ones near completion. Last 30 day average results:567,937Percentage Complete:Currently listed on the Research page:89%. The average length of a WU is currently running about 4.08 hours, slightly shorter than last week, but continuing to trend steady just less than the 4.20 hour mark. The average length of a work unit this past week varied between 4.08 and 4.17 hours. This continues to be remarkably steady. Still have not seen any of the batches from 122278 to 122402. The ovarian units started with 122403 as the lowest number. My latest batch number was 131932 which would give about 199 batches for the week. Production increased ever so slightly this past week going from about 4.02 million WU's to 4.03 million WU's completed. During this past week the time devoted to MCM1 was just slightly over an average of 272 years per day, compared to slightly over 270.4 years per day the previous week. Originally we had 17,500 batches plus 9000 more batches, plus 5000 more batches (all approximate) for a total of 31,500 batches. Now we have an estimated 4000 more batches for a total of 35,500 batches. At 10,000 workunits per batch, this would be 355,000,000 work units (double redundancy), so total of 710,000,000 work units. As of today we have processed 637,859,594. This would be about 89.84% of the known batches. ![]() Crunch on. Cheers

A little glitch this morning. I got my last MCM work unit at 08:35 GMT #132524. I have been getting a steady supply OET, Zika and FAHV ever since, so at least I am not dry. Something must have happened to the feeders on MCM.

The Grid, supply and demand and various reports, indicate things are not exactly in equilibrium. Saturday morning stats were the highest for the week at 270yrs, upload catch-up (?), but the afternoon was the lowest, as was to be expected, totaling day with 513 yrs, and not 540 or ~485yrs. I've upped my buffers to 2.5 days, because there are long intermissions in the ZIKA stream for one.

Just realised that my cores are all idle. I have turned on one project at a time and discovered that the only one providing work appears to be OET.
