Any idea what the maximum allowable time is? I received only one of the long-running wus, and it appears to have finished successfully (in PV status) in 27.5 hours. (And yes -- claiming the obligatory 17.1 points

Some of my units died after 30h, some others did after 27h or 25h. It's strange since there are some that after 25h have finished OK.

I just aborted 6 of them. 4 hrs running at only 10% and time left was about the same. What a waste of computer time.

My understanding is that it is not a time cut-off but rather an amount of computation cut-off. Faster computers should reach this limit quicker.

I just got this unit and it started out fast an then slowed down toward's the end and at about 99% done it went back to 10% done at around the 3 hour mark and I didn't want it to keep looping like that so I aborted it. There were no checkpoints on this unit and it was the 707 app version running on Windows 7 x64 and on an Intel i3.

----------------------------------------That has been happening a fair amount. Mine did that too. After resetting to 10% the estimated time remaining didn't know what to do and every few hours the completed computation went up another 10% block.  |
