Ebola Project Milestones

I struggled to find a thread where I could put this post (and I hope many other posts of success will follow) and decided to create a new thread. We usually post OUR accomplishments (as crunchers), but this time I would like to promote, with this thread, the project's accomplishments. I'm starting by posting the first Ebola milestone: the project has reached 100 years run time (after 23 days):

Run Time 101:066:21:19:47
Points Generated 146,440,860
Results Returned 382,560

The project is currently generating 4-5 years worth of crunched WUs per day. I know it has been difficult to make to this point and hopefully it will become easier in the future.

I don't think this is exactly known yet, but here's a post that may help. Here's another one. Please keep an eye on the Welcome to the project! thread to be up to date on what is happening with the OET project.

This has been discussed and debated ad nauseam mostly in the ! no tasks available ! thread.

Re: Ebola Project Milestones

Sorry I don't have time to sit and sift out all that, we need a dash board. I'll just keep looking at it's daily results/day and when that picks back up I'll open the computer again. The last thing I need is more stuff to read and facts to hunt down. Thanks just the same.

Re: Ebola Project Milestones

There's a 'dash board' in several variations, to include a simple click on the 'Community' up top and then going to the project page to see production of day and history, easily bookmarked. Furthermore, there's the client notices when major changes, updates occur to projects, delivered to your doorstep. If that's too much, well sorry.

That's what I said I would do, when I said I’d look at the WU'S/DAY......I guess having to spell it all out and get smart about it made you feel good somehow. Bottom line is I don't care how you feel about it. I wasn't even addressing you or really any one else when I posted after and asked eosaph the Outsmart Ebola Together Scientist

The reason we need a dash board is to get away from hunting and picking within this Chat Room based forum...

Have a nice day.

Re: Ebola Project Milestones

Just so you know, a lot of people here agree with you inasmuch as very little on the site is intuitive. Also, not everyone here has the same knee-jerk response to criticism of WCG that some members tend to have.

I spend a fair amount of time here and I'm still trying to acclimate to the changes that have been made to the site. Personally I think that it's even more confusing to use now than it was before the "improvements."
