at least throttle down d LINUX version of WUs...

& please, make sure that "device" does not download more than it can take!
some results were not calculated, 'cause of lack of time on LINUX:
Result Name	Device Name Status	Sent Time	Time Due /
Return Time CPU Time / Elapsed Time (hours) Claimed/ Granted BOINC Credit

Re: Hughe runtime discrepancy between Linux and Windows

They could consider running it in VirtualBox. It would take up more memory, but they could optimize it once and be done with it. I expect that the total output would be higher.

And what OS should be running inside the VirtualBox?
With windows you have a licence issue and linux you have the problems you have right now.

Beside that: I'm not sure whether or not it is possible to run on a linux server version with no UI.

Re: Hughe runtime discrepancy between Linux and Windows

We are testing a fix for this issue internally now. We will get this to beta as soon as possible.

Thanks,
