It's a great pity that it's suddenly gone very quiet on HSTB after the initial flurry - the few WU's that did come my way were all OK and well behaved, but validation seems to be slow - I still have two stuck in PV. It would be good to know when some more WU's might be released....

I received a few on different machines at 11:24, 11:28 & 12:33 BST, but I agree they are very sparse. Some were the relatively short T000 type, others a new (to me) T325 type.

...new (to me) T325 type. I got a T325 this morning and started it just to see what it was. It was a long one. |

What's a Help Stop TB work unit look like? Yet to see one.
I will wait, they will come (eventually). Conan |

I'm just finishing up tonight some T350 WUs. Some of my first HST1 WUs were finishing up in about 5 hours or so, but these T350 puppies are running more like 24+ Hrs. Methinks since some of us are complaining about not enough WUs, somebody decided 'ok - so they want more WUs, how about making them five times bigger to stick it to those whiners'. Anyway, a couple days ago I got about 3 days worth WUs thinking they were the 5 hours variety. If all of them are 24 hour WUs, it will be interesting to see if I can get rid of my queue before everything goes into panic mode.
![]() Oh well, I guess I'll see if I get some excitement over the weekend or early next week finishing up all this new work. |

One of mine went valid, took long enough.

Still trickling in - any word on what algorithm they use for distributing WU's? They don't seem to distribute evenly - I have one machine with 5 and the rest with 0.

Somewhere published in this thread, what the algorithm is... don't feel obstructed in reading back, but it certainly is a FCFS distribution when work happens to be in the feeder slots ;P)
----------------------------------------And, since there's a validation problem and or a problem with the output itself [too many invalid], not expecting this is going to be changed anytime soon ... possibly another Beta needed. [Edit 1 times, last edit by SekeRob* at Apr 1, 2016 11:24:36 AM] |
