hmmm, morning stats took a dip... just 3000 validations i.e. a day extrapolsation of 6K opposed to the expected 9K+ based off the 9600 original copies 'scheduled' to go out. Maybe armstrdj's investigation had a safety-first button refrex.

Only got one of my 24 Hr long HST1 WUs to finish. Now my queue is estimating all of them to be same length and before 3 others were able to finish 2 days ago, another set went into high priority mode and has hogged my laptop since. I just put them on hold for now to allow the three others to finish up in the next few hours. I guess I may now be manually doing this sort of stuff the next week to clear out the big plugged up backlog on my laptop. Good that I have until 4/07 or 4/08 on all the waiting HST1 WUs. Given that amount of time I may actually get them done before hitting their time limits. But I bet there are a bunch of people waiting on me now in PV mode while I play finishing wingman for their already finished WUs.

Just looking at my backlog of WUs now, I'm sitting on 6.5 Days now of backlog - I may find I have to flush some of them just before the deadlines at the end of next week at this pace. I wonder if others out there are in this same situation after getting extra WUs earlier this past week when they were running much faster, and now that they are running 6 times longer, the queues are now showing that work may not get done by the deadline. I'm thinking in a week there may be a bunch of extra WUs looking for new crunching homes after all those now in queues across the land hit their time limits.

I still have some PVs from the 24th and 25th of March. Even if all complete and I finish what I Have in my cue, 4 days shy of silver. Going on vacation, so I have to crunch AIDS. Which is ok, since I'm 2 years shy my 5 year goal. Just give me a few this weekend... and I'll quit crying sniff.

At least my long WUs (and some earlier shorter WUs) are all validating on my laptop ok. It's just crunching a big backlog this weekend into the next week. If I get everything done, I'll easily get my Bronze badge and be halfway to my Silver by the end of the week.

EBM, these WU are hard to get. You have to go get yourself a reasonable size cache of other WUs, say a days worth, then increase your cache size and only select HSTB in your project selection.

I find it slightly ironic that some of us have HST WUs and don't think they can complete them within the deadline. I am fishing just for HST whilst my caches of WUs for other projects empty and have got none at all.
----------------------------------------It seems like either feast or famine. All my HST WUs have come in just 2 bursts, the first shot me past bronze, the second fell a few short of silver. The third remains elusive. I need just a handful of WUs to get to silver but I'm not going to play the fishing game any longer if my net remains empty today. The earlier badges are not necessarily the easiest ones to get - as we learned with OET and that project hiatus! I'm well on my way to 20 years with OET anyway and can still bump UGM from 5 to 10 years before that project ends. HST will still be around when they are gone...
