Re: ECD topic

Here's the new ECDs:

Sorry for being a little late. Have been busy to come to computer!

So, changes:
- OET got more data (or a slowdown), so it slipped 2m to June 2018
- FAHB is coming on nicely, but those ECD are not final...as data from FAAH has to arrive...expect it to slip further in the future.
- SCC is coming on 2m ahead of ECD, as the FAAH is on pause. Like HST1 & MIP1.
- MCM & ZIKA did get new data, so they got ECD in 2021.

Re: ECD topic

Thanks for taking the time and effort in providing these stats for us KLiK - they're very useful, especially for me, as it won't be too long before I've topped off all my projects at Sapphire and thus, will be looking for a suitable project to direct my limited resouces to in order to make the 3 year stretch for my first 5 year Diamond badge.

Re: ECD topic

Thx guys. That's why I'm doing it. Noticed how in the dark I was, when there wasn't any data. We were partly-blind in the ECDs & reaching or goals.

Don't know about you, but I like to make a little game of all this donations in getting the best badges I can get. But also, turn those into goals to reach. Make a grown up game so much interesting. ;)

Re: ECD topic

I completely agree, KLiK.

Badge hunting makes this into a game and without it, donating is more boring. Also reaching for higher badges is what motivated me to spend more money then I wish to remember on renting servers so I could get higher badges before a project ended. Information on end dates helped/helps me know where I can make a push to a bigger badge and I really appreciate it.

Re: ECD topic

Here's the new chart:

Had to recover from Christmas party in a firm, here just a small part of it:
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bcxk1BZnUPthlvwMG...R1ZB79R2DWs0/?igref=ogexp
Yes, we do #partyhard...no dinners, just: music, fun & alcohol. cool

Anyway, changes:
- MIP got to 3%, so we're for sure in the end of 2027 (with this computational allocation to MIP, which will change). You can easily calc up to end-2028, 'cause you got a to mount in all vacations in about 1m per year.
- Some of the projects did receive some speed up: OET, FAHB (which will be extended).
- Some got to go month backwards: SCC, HSTB, MCM (which will be extended), ZIKA.
- FAAH still on pause.
wink

On a personal level, that'll do me nicely - as SCC is very likely to be the very first project I'm going to stretch for that first Diamond badge (and I'm not even at Sapphire yet - so I've got someway to go).

I would be pretty sure the scientists are adding work units as they are either testing against other libraries of molecules or they are testing against other configurations of their existing molecules. Or it could be something entirely different. It would be nice if the techs or the scientists chimed in with just a smidgen of information on the subject.
Cheers

Well, there's tendency last few months about SCC going backwards in percentages. We seen projects do that before on account:
1. adding data, as Sgt.Joe has mentioned
2. bigger WUs, as the TtC of each WU gets longer, so the ECD prolongs it
3. WCG assign less weight for the project

To have the real answer, we can all ask here: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...40534_lastpage,yes#559526
