Re: Problem with Upload Server

Whenever I see that "transient HTTP error" message on one of my machines, I recycle BOINC or just reboot altogether. Typically, that will clear up the error for me and get things caught up and running normal again.

If you're encountering this issue can you please turn on http_debug on your client. If you are running 7.6.x boinc. It is in Options -> Event Log Options. This should show more details about what is happening. Please post your logs with the extra data, I'm curious as to what it shows.

Hmm... I assume this is a Windows centric option sad

Linux here - only one, my Fedora Workstation has a desktop but no BOINC GUI - the rest are command-line only servers...

So after some investigation is this correct? Create a cc_config.xml in the BOINC directory like this...

UPDATE...
I think I might have gotten the cc_config.xml right. A transaction that formally only added 3 lines to stdoutdae.txt currently adds 78. The partition it is in has 48G free - so I can log this extra detail at least for some time to come... smile

Each set of entries seems to find 2 dead connections - then creates two more that are left intact...

I am getting the same, The upload server is probably getting hammered, have lots of very short FAH wu's most around 1.5 minutes processing time.
