Re: Galaxy S8 performing about 50% less than my S7's and S5

Are your computation settings identical in the app of S7 and S8? Are both phones using the same device profile on WCG?

Settings are identical in S7 and S8 WCG app. I don't know how to check the device profile to see if they are identical.

CPU LOAD 32% Cores 0-3 1900MHz Cores 4-7925 MHz

The snapdragon 835 has an octocore setup, but it is most likely set up in the big.LITTLE design. This is where a quad core chip is running at a higher clock speed, and another quad core is running at a lower speed.
I have an odroid xu4 that has a similar setup, and even with upgraded heatsink and fan, as well as case fans, I still never max out the clock speed. CPU usage always shows 100% usage though.

Not sure where your settings icon went, but if you swipe down from the top of the screen, you should be able to see it there.
