@mortsnorkle If you have tasks still waiting to upload, click on one task, and that should allow you to click on the retry tab

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Okay thanks Keith - my probable best bet then, is to wait until you've fixed the Profile issue - thus, allowing me to switch projects (Zika is my second choice).

I've still got 3, out of 8 of my cores still crunching on FAH2 - so I'm not totally dry.

Going into Manager - Transfers and following Geoff's suggestion worked for me once I selected the tasks that were waiting to be uploaded and clicked 'Retry Now'.

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Final update for the day: the team is off to get some much-needed rest.

As Keith already mentioned, volunteers can send & receive work, report completed work and have their results validated (except for FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2).

Tomorrow, we will resume working on resolving the website issues (volunteers can't change device profile, project selections, etc), resume creating and loading new work, and enable validation of FightAIDS@Home - Phase 2 results.

In the meantime, I want to thank everyone for your support and encouraging comments throughout!

Juan

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

The changing of preferences is still under work. At the moment, it is working on the primary machine, however, if for some reason that gets switched to another machine, then it does not work. My recommendation to the members is give it a shot, but if it doesn't work, then be patient as we will work towards fixing that tomorrow. We don't consider it 100% fixed, so we are sorry for it if those options are not working for you.

As of now, our team is pretty exhausted and need to get some quality rest. I will probably check on things after midnight UTC to make sure things are working as expected.

Thanks for your patience during this time,
-Uplinger

So have I - Open Zika now crunching on the 5 cores that were empty.

Once again, thanks to all who've managed to recover the system - and may you have a very good nights rest and relaxation, you deserve it

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Alleluia it works again.

Thanks to you all for the hard work to make WCG back on track.

I came back from work this monday evening 21h00 (I'm in France) and still no change. :( Waouh, must have been a really big outage, since very early sunday morning, nothing to crunch and same monday evening?

I took my android 2h ago, to read some sms, it is cold (my phone is cold). Then 2h later I receive a new sms, I take again my android phone and it is hot in my hand, I feel the soft warmth.

mmmhhh GOOD NEWS, my android is crunching hot again. :) So WCG is back again, they solved everything.

Thanks to all the staff and all my cpus ask me to tell you "Thank you!!!".
