Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Ok, i successfully changed my selected projects.

Crunching again.

Thanks! ;)

It seems as what uplinger wrote, it may or may not work. In the test, twice, changed first to SCC only and got the 'No work for SCC' message, then switched to FAH2, and got a no FAH2 work message, then back to HSTb+FAHV and got FAHV. ... must have connected to the right server. smile

Thanks for your hard work from me too.

My computer is now back in business, after an additional backoff thanks to the power company and my ISP...

Thanks to the Techs, well done. I always knew that putting an extra shilling (pre-decilmisation)in the meter could sort things out. biggrin

Seem to be crunching normally since yesterday late evening. smile

Crunching machines all resumed at completely different times but WTH, they're back on.

Great work by you boys at WCG. peace

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Changing device profile seems to work again, at least for setting the buffer size. I did not try to modify the project selection.
Cheers,
Yves

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Awestruck this at least for me, absent complaints very likely everyone, went off entirely lossless applause , was reading how a project admin elsewhere shared he'd had to restore after a crash requiring to return to an 'older' backup. [Choke][Swallow]

(There's still the tiny case of some stats not tallying.... statistics run totals before crash, plus last entry in MC history after crash, before resume, is for at least one user the same as before that last history entry.)

Thanks to all the behind the scenes people that put in some long hours getting the system back up and running! We are especially grateful that no data appears to have been lost!

WCG Techs can now have a beer or two and get a well-deserved sleep. Everything is working again!
