The Flat Earth Society is outraged over suppression of the truth, as a few days ago the authorities forbade the rocket flight over public land...'steamed up' they are (pun intended, but fear that went over head ;o)

I'm kind of hoping he evolves into a "double-sided-coin earth" theory. I'm hoping it is a deep dish pizza earth theory. Or maybe I am just too hungry right now.  I mean think about it -- globes just aren't that mouth-watering. |

Or explore the Arctic or Antarctic, which they say has more than the globe shows...so I'd let them search there...  |

The curvature of the crust explains so much.... Here's a picture I took of the horizon, not carried 1800 feet up on a steam rocket, but just 350 feet on a coastal hill. Into the pic I drew a straight line (put a ruler against your display if you don't 'believe' your eyes)... the curvature is slightly convex, a pizza is, but also raises the possibility we live in a Dyson sphere...
