Given you already have a post in this thread edited by the admin for inappropriate language, consider yourself to be invited out of this thread... this is only for those who understand the fun of eclectic 'science' done in the Chat Room Should I be sorry about mentioning a science facts & data? No, don't think so. But facts are notable, science has proven it from Greek era that Earth is round! That's some 5.000 years ago. If somebody can't understand the "junior school curriculum", that's not my problem - it's theirs. I'm here to tell the "Earth is round" & to give science proof. Not some cute girl in some uniform on YouTube video! If provided science facts offend someone or their belief, they should either rethink their science or consult appropriate physician for their health. Whichever they think is best for them?  Only a buffoon would think the world is round of course its FLAT!! Not some cute girl in some uniform on YouTube video!--And you should leave Little Mermaid out of this Post reported for Bullying...but not to get into that now. What is your PROOF that the Earth is FLAT? If you have not figured it out by now you never will--by the way i went the 8th grade four times and still haven't  figured it out!! Well, your proof is a BAD proof.
----------------------------------------Why? 1. There's no DIRECT FLIGHT from Bali to Anchorage, so that's why the trip is 24h. So that's Google playing tricks on YOU. 2. Yes the trip to Anchorage is shorter than LAX, by about 1800 miles but on a round globe (6900 to 8700miles) 3. Every aircraft in the air had proven CORIOLIS FORCE at work on all airplanes in the air. Where is Coriolis force in your calcs? BTW, when we are at Coriolis force, check this straight flight - Frankfurt to New York: https://www.google.hr/maps/dir/New+York,+Sjed...821267!2d50.1109221?hl=hr Same length, it takes 7:25h from New York, but 8:40h from Frankfurt. If that's not a proof that Earth is a ball & spinning, don't know what is?! |

@KLiK you realize that these posts are written in sarcasm font, right? Unfortunately, don't have that kind of "negative humor". & there's no Smiley for it! Maybe they should try to converse about topic, not making bad jokes. That's what forum is, conversation. I have my life to make jokes with, when I act or say something in a funny way (where voice & facial expression is also available for the listener & viewer). Sarcasm does not translate very well in written form. Or maybe some people are bad writers? Or just with a poor choice of delivering message on a media? Anyway, I don't come here to joke. 'cause I had my laugh during coffee pause break at work. & that was fun! Off to GF, so see you around. |
