Looking for/calling cjslman
- I would like to ask you a question. Would you be against a visit to your team Cahuamos from whatever Base Camp crew we would be able to assemble in a couple of weeks? Do you think you would talk to us - just a little? Do you think you would have the time to show us just a few of your favorite Mexican places? I have never been to Mexico, and the Edwardians faction of Base Camp has neither. |

----------------------------------------Since I don’t expect the attention span of too many to span several days, this may be repeated on Friday June 8. You are invited to participate in Base Camp’s trek 1.0 to The International Team running from June 9 - June 16. Jump starts are encouraged. Our aim is to rock the boat for some Swedish hippopotamuses (plural intended) who has let himself be talked into applying for the vacant position as Captain of The International Team This team was originally founded by Jean Pierre from Santiago, Chile, whom many of you older crunchers will remember as very active on the Forum - among many other things he started the ’What are you listening to’ thread back when radios were powered by steam engines flodisar – that’s the Swedish hippos, and yes, it’s plural, because our Swede likes all hippos has been a member of the team virtually since its birth; he’s the only active member as far as I have observed, so it would be well deserved to hand over the captain’s hat to him. Base Camp plans to do a The International Team 2.0 some time in the future when the team is up and running with flodisar at the helm. Our purpose now is to draw your attention to The International Team and hopefully inspire some of you to join as permanent members. If you join Base Camp’s trek and crunch just one WU for The International Team you will be eligible for a badge – and a mention in the Base Camp Hall of Fame The suggested badge looks like this  The final one may come out totally different.
