MyOnlineTeam 5th in the world for points yesterday

biggrin

Hey we can't be beaten by 2 IBM's!!!

It's a bit like that gag that goes

Q) What is the difference between a Duck?
A) One of it's legs are both the same.

I've argued at length with IBM on this one but they are not listening. Rest assured that I have tried. There would be 21 other teams on the points per day for yesterday giving more encouragement and visibility to the smaller teams. IBM would be at the top of the pile wupping everyone which would be OK because it would demonstrate their commitment to the WCG.

IBM beaten by Easynews, Kentucky Wildcats and /. I don't think so wink

Re: MyOnlineTeam 5th in the world for points yesterday

A Call out to CompuDude and NL59056

Any clues as to when you will be back in the fold (lousy pun) firing on all cylinders again?
We could really do with the CPU Horsepower you have there.
Dave

p.s. 15K a day on "tickover" is a points score anyone would be proud off even in overdrive biggrin

Is it really November or did we drop back to September?

Good morning all (at least it is morning here). I cannot believe the beautiful weather we are having here! It is almost like the clock has been rolled back a month and a half! Warmer than usual all the way until Friday!

Note that I did display this in degrees Celcius -- for those in the states, that temperature on Wednesday is 83 degrees Fahrenheit!

Re: That Penguin

Looks like the linux agent is paying off Stefan applause

Hi David!

Yes, it really does! My output before was at 13-15.000 points per day
and it now seems to be at 20-22.000 points per day. On a couple of
machines (11 CPUs) I just switched from VirtWin (virtual Windows) to
VanLin (VanillLinux) client but I actually added 9 CPUs (plus a very slow
one). Not bad for 7000 extra points -- I guess some of the "switch"
machines now perform a little better. Will check this in a couple of days
when everything proved to run smoothly. Will also add about 10 more
CPUs until Xmas.

With Compudude and our NL friend running in 1st gear I even managed
to enter the top 10 of daily points (#8 yesterday, a second MOT member
is in the top10: MLCBA at #10).

I wish in real life I could also say: "I've reached a point where it takes
me less than 7 weeks to make a million...". cool

Best, Stefan.

Re: Get Blogging

Hello team, sorry but my blog has been shutdown. I took it offline since it just didn't seem to get the world off it's lazy behinds and join the rest of us in the fight. Maybe the site just wasn't reaching them, not sure. I was dissapointed in the results and decided I needed to take some time away from the blog world and rework the whole thing. I just don't think many people realize what we are trying to do here. What small thing they have to do to help. It boggles my mind that people out there from all around the globe who have acess to a computer don't download the small program and help the rest of fight for cures to deadly diseases. Why don't they realize the potential? My if they all joined in to help we would be going through one project after the other. Imagine the results! No more cancer, aids, lukemia etc. WOW!!!!!! Just by downloading a simple virus free, adaware free program.

Well that it's for my soap box for now! I haven't did much posting as of lately. Lost the passion for awhile, but the passion is coming back to me and I think it's time to start harassing the non WCG members of the WORLD again!!!!!!!!! biggrin biggrin
The world does a lot of charity work to help those in need. The WCG is in need from the WORLD!

SO IT TIME TO BREAK THE SILENCE AND HOPE THEY'LL LISTEN!!!!!!!!! wink biggrin wink
