Re: 5th Again

If there is any internal rivalry within IBM between the 2 teams which encourages participation in the Grid then I'll stand corrected.

Dave --
I would really doubt IBM and IBM Corporation exist out of a feeling of rivalry between the two. That being said, there are plenty of other IBM teams out there that do -- those for various labs, countries or markets. As a former IBM'er, I did identify myself with IBM Reserach Triangle Park (RTP) and was excited when our team passed them up as we climbed through the ranks.

Here's the new Value for Money Motherboard from Asus

http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l...model=766&modelmenu=1

Onboard everything again with plenty of upgrade potential

After the sad demise of Socket A and 32 Bit computing before it's time. It looks like time to say hello to Socket 939 and 64 Bit operations.

Just a word of warning Socket 939 is to be phased out by AMD in favour of Socket 940 sometime this year sad

Dave --

In the case of IBM and IBM Corporation, I totally agree with you, especially since they take up two slots in the top 5. I don't think those who joined those two teams did so to compete with other entities within IBM. Just a choice of which corporate team to join I would think.

Thanks, Dave. And thanks to everyone.

Ya, there's a few people using the Run As Service script. I have all of my machines using it. I was considering doing another one that wouldn't have to use INSTSRV, SRVANY, and NIRCMD as extra programs. That was less (or no) editing of the script would be required to run and perform the conversion.

I'm wondering if I'll ever pass up cyberwire. I've been (very) slowly gaining on him ... only 24K points behind now. wink

Keep crunching ...
