Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Think they just load a few batches, run them through their generation, gradually depleting the daily availability, and then the cycle starting anew. At scientists side there's probably more than a little 'manual' involvement to get to a new limited set.

Oh, and yes, 1 yesterday, 2 today, in fact, 1 machine has all 5 active-ish sciences on it.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

I notice that for the first time in a long while there was less than a year of runtime on 2/2 and now the midday update for 2/4 did not register any work. I think something is wrong.

Edit: That was the six hour mark of 2/4 with no work. The midday numbers look fairly normal.

I see a marked downtrend in HSTB though both in the monthly statistics in Victor's thread and the raw project statistics. These are the last few months of monthly batches completed statistics.

Month batches Avg/day
Sept 166 5.5
Oct 139 4.6
Nov 126 4.2
Dec 117 3.9
Jan 109 3.6

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

What to expect at 709 yesterday and 50,000 devices fishing for them.

Just had 3, middle of the night. Since the distribution is at randomized times, it's just chance hit. Think random is now in place for FAHB, HSTb, ARP1, the low supply projects, but still I'm having more or less a fairly good (profile ltd) caching so the designated 2-1-1 app_config set concurrent processing is more or less full time. 3 HSTb lasts me 3 days to finish them. The MIP1/MCM1 on the other 4 threads take care of fairly frequent fetch calling if there's a short on any one of them. Set config to Report_Results_Immediately else any completed task could sit there for hours waiting out the moment total cache falls below the minimum setting. With RRI it's 2:01 minutes backoff at the most before a backfill is called for the reported task at which point the incremental cycle starts again until the next task needs reporting,

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

I received 4 on Monday.
They are fairly scarce which, I suppose, is to be expected.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

To my astonishment, I've actually got two of these running at the same time! An unprecedented volume of wus.

Both now done,
back to the normality of none.
