I tried zero once and it was the same as unlimited. Didn't think to try "-1" but then it wouldn't stop WUs from being delivered to you so it's not too useful.

I even tried "reset project" button, and it downloaded a half dozen other projects (I'm using 3 cores for BOINC projects).
----------------------------------------I set the queue back to .5/2 so it'll check back more often, and the only participating project I have checked is africa rainfall. So hopefully it'll eventually get a WU. I'll just leave it alone now, maybe someday...  |

For these new WUs for this project, what is the time limit to get them done? 10 Days? Or something shorter? Just asking since if I'm looking at 12+ hours of crunching for one of these new WUs, a 10 day limit should allow me to easily get them done. But if they are just a day or a few days, that will probably not allow me to crunch for this project. Any feedback appreciated.

I tried zero once and it was the same as unlimited. Didn't think to try "-1" but then it wouldn't stop WUs from being delivered to you so it's not too useful. It has nothing to do with what projects you're running. If you don't want WUs from certain projects don't select that project. If you have something in your queue you don't want running that is all the -1 is good for.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

BOINC developers have been very consistent (euphemistically) in employing 0 and -1, where -1 in places also could mean unlimited. Have never seen anything like what you're saying since the app_config configuration was added to the BOINC app. Can you show an instance of that?

so, is this going to be the pace we get WUs at?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to throw a tantrum if yes...I'm just curious if normal situation is expected or temporary. either way's cool...I'll still be crunching stuff. just asking. that's all. :) |

Anyone receive any 001s? I've only gotten 000s so far; i.e., the first 48 hour simulation. (July 1-2, 2018 I think)
