Mike,

Re: Work Available

All of a sudden I get the following resends:

ARP1_0028560_137_4 [REDACTED] In Progress 2023-04-16 17:55:28 UTC 2023-04-19 17:55:28 UTC
ARP1_0023358_137_3 [REDACTED] In Progress 2023-04-16 17:50:13 UTC 2023-04-19 17:50:13 UTC
ARP1_0025547_137_3 [REDACTED] In Progress 2023-04-16 15:14:52 UTC 2023-04-19 15:14:52 UTC
ARP1_0019019_137_3 [REDACTED] In Progress 2023-04-16 12:09:52 UTC 2023-04-19 12:09:52 UTC
ARP1_0015991_137_3 [REDACTED] In Progress 2023-04-16 10:02:01 UTC 2023-04-19 10:02:01 UTC

I run a “0.001 - 0.01” QUEUE as I got frustrated by other(s) with QUEUEs too large and having my WU’s aborted when theirs were FINALLY processed and returned.

I agree that there are too many who don't reply in time. So far as I am aware, your re-sends would only be server aborted if the earlier one is returned before your copy reaches its first checkpoint (12.5%). If after the checkpoint then it would not be aborted and you would be able to finish it and claim credit for finishing it. However the credit would be the average of the first 2 to finish and not yours.

Re: Work Available

Sunday Report

There have been very few extremes or accelerated units validated this week.

20,100 units have been validated this week

Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are 1,646,417 units still outstanding. I will re-start my forecasting once output stabilises.

The definition of normal, accelerated and extreme remained generations 143, 133 & 128, respectively.

There are 35 Extremes and 57 Accelerated units listed as few have crossed a threshold. The numbers in their generations are now 2,200 & 3841.

Re: Work Available

I got some fresh ARPs this morning. I hope everyone gets a steady stream of them. The downloading is slow, but moving, as to the slow and not moving we have had in the past.

I am only getting downloads to work by using lots of clicks on the retry button.

Edit:After working hard trying to develop RSI on my left click finger, I now have three tasks running. Lots of transient http errors. Is this down to the servers not having enough connections to the outside world?

Re: Work Available

Seems like there are indeed some units floating around.

And just like before, downloads are failing left and right. Time to bring back the trusty autoclicker....

If this is the case, it must not be universal. All downloads and uploads are working fine here.
Cheers

Edit: about 2300 UTC I started to see the HTTP errors also

Cheers

They are connecting a lot more often than before, but I'm still getting some project backoffs / HTTP transient errors.

Re: Work Available

I was out of ARP1 but suddenly, this afternoon, my cache on both machines filled up with newbies - all 138!

And once again, we have the http transient errors back again on the downloads. Please phase them in so this doesn't happen again.
