042s started flowing yesterday so I now expect completion in June 2023.
This corresponds to 23% based on 183 iterations, so close to project reference to 25%. They may have approximated. Mike |

043s started flowing yesterday so I now expect completion in Mid June 2023. Why so slow? Or do you download a huge number of them at a time? I get them quite regularly and they take about 8 hours or so to complete. Each iteration is comprised of about 35,500 unit and as 2 copies go out, there are about 71,000 units to be crunched. 11,000+ results are being crunched per day so that means over 6 days per iteration. The 10 interval rolling average is currently 6.4 days. Mike |

Eight hours? I'm getting 16-20 hours on my Threadripper.
Is this project much faster on Redhat, or Intel, or possibly have you made an error? |

the statistics that really beg for an explanation are the average Points per Result of 4,474. That's Points. The 90 Valids I have now have a high of 1256 (with 600-800 a typical range) That's Credits. (Easy to see when looking at the BETA results when there are none. ![]() Credits are Points divided by seven. Of course you knew that already, Aurum420, the explanation is there only for people who are still in the dark. (In Dutch we say 'to reach/to dip in the dark'.) ![]() My slowest device (that is crunching ARP1 tasks) is circling around 500 credits at the moment: ARP1_0016974_043_0-- Linux 727 Valid 1/1/21 11:39:01 1/2/21 07:26:58 13.90 514.7 / 498.7 |
