WUs contain more than one compound, so fewer than 500 million WUs per target. As mentioned in another thread, we can follow the batches to know progress. 50k batches per target.

As enormous as it sounds, with 4 days now over 1 million validated results this target should complete in under 2 years.

As enormous as it sounds, with 4 days now over 1 million validated results this target should complete in under 2 years With any luck, they'll have found something before the end of that! Impressive that all that'll only take <2 years at the current rate though :) Let's hope the GPU app comes soon lol Would be even faster with this!     |

10,000 ligands per batch, ligands (compound docked against the (spike? protein target) sometimes split. Highest batch sub task I've seen is 13665, but someone wrote there's been 17000 observed.

we have no way to know when the pandemic will end. We don't know what the world will look like in 2 months, much less 2 years.
----------------------------------------The more resources OpenPandemics is given, the faster it can work. Even if things don't work out, the lessons learned from this project should hopefully help us respond to the next one, far faster. |
