captainjack, nope don´t work. On Milkyway@home I started a second instance. The first with HD 7970 runs 4 WUs simulaniously. The second with A12-9800 APU just 2. Yes I did read config files, no errors.
----------------------------------------Just tried switching sections so gpu_usage>1< is the first one and .5 is the second, then BOINC runs 2 WUs on each gpus. So I guess BOINC reads the first section and sets it to 1 WU and reads the second section sets it to 2 WUs. Maybe it's just not possible.

I can't even get BOINC to run 2 GPU tasks. <app_config> <app> <name>beta29</name> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>0.5</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>1</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> /app> </app_config> BOINC correctly says a task is running with 1 CPU + 0.5 AMD/ATI GPUs but runs just 1 task. How many CPUs allowed to run? Maybe try: <cpu_usage>0.5</cpu_usage> this works for me. Using Intel HD Graphics 530 and Geforce GTX 950M.
So far everything looks just fine. The first are pending validation each. Intel took around 100min. Nvidia Gforce approx. 30min. |

I set the CPU part to 0.5 and the only change was that now BOINC displays "0.5 CPUs + 1 AMD/ATI GPUs". lol I'll try other variations. EDIT: And now, after messing around with those values, re-reading config files and even restarting the BOINC Client several, 0.5 + 0.5 worked.... 8 CPU tasks plus 2 GPU tasks are now running. Thanks! My desktop cards gobbled those Betas up pretty fast, still hungry for more....feeder is empty atm.

On the positive side, this round of Beta actually ran on my AMD A10 7850K iGPU without timing out the graphics driver and freezing up the system! It took just over an hour to complete all 68 jobs in the WU. Now PV.

Had 4 instantly error out on 1 pc with the error "Output file absent" but other pc is running them fine.
