Processed 1 beta WU without any problems on an Intel GPU. The claimed / granted BOINC credits is a bit off:

The claimed / granted BOINC credits is a bit off: BOINC itself, and the projects using the full BOINC server package, stopped reporting 'claimed credit' about 10 years ago. It's a legacy value, and hasn't been updated to cope with GPU computing.Once the dust has settled, it might be worth thinking about changing the report. But in the meantime, just disregard the claim. |

Good evening, Ok, I lied about the last beta. On the assimilator to package the results, I am storing them differently then we did for opn1. I need to modify this and run a clean beta tomorrow. Only a few batches and we will see it in action. I plan on this for tomorrow morning. Probably another 10 batches. Thanks, -Uplinger @Uplinger. I'm sure we can handle that short beta too.  BTW, earlier in this Beta thread you mentioned a short Beta, to check the removal of a file we upload during this beta. Is that already done, and that we no longer will upload that file for every finished WU. Edit: It was a dlg file. BTW: big thanks for Uplinger & Co, this has been best Beta-project where I have has been participating, about 50 tasks done, all succeeded :-)

Then check the log file to make sure BOINC is recognizing your video card. If the log says "no usable GPU found" you will not receive GPU tasks. If it recognizes your GPU then your just having back luck getting betas. Thanks for the reply. I've done all that several times (even re-installing), and I crunch 24/7/365. But I'll wait for it to happen. Here's what I've set up and gotten WUs for every time during the last betas. In the Boinc client: 1. Check if your GPU is recognized by the Boinc Client under Event Log 2. There must be a line showing your GPU with an OpenCl version >=1.2 On the WCG Page: 3. Opt-In for Betatesting under "My Contribution" and check your machine's profile. 4. Choose the device profile associated with your machine and select "Custom Profile " 5. Scroll down and choose which GPU you want to get WUs for. That's it. Good luck!  |

I set Intel GPU to 'off', because I have an AMD cpu. |

Good morning,
The updated assimilator was deployed on to the servers last night. I have seen it working. So now I'm going to load up 10 batches and release them so that I can send the proper file structure to the researchers so they can test against their scripts. New batches to be released in about 5-10 minutes, or however fast I can type in the commands. Thanks, -Uplinger |
