Things aren't really looking up although I am getting more valid WUs as people spin down their GPUs. 4/23 I had 19 invalid and one so far 4/24. I suppose the fact that each invalid is run four times creates more work for us overall as well.

I'd disagree. I think things are getting better.
----------------------------------------Since 22/04/21 I've had 28 units fail (invalid, too late, and server aborts) but 370 valid over the same period. At around 7.5% failing that's a lot better than it was when the bad batches were just released. Not perfect, I'd agree, but not terrible either especially as they run for hardly any time. The last 7 pages of results have only had 1 failure however, that's less than 1% failing since about 22:00 UTC on 23/04/21. So it looks like most of the bad batches have been flushed through. I've got an OPNG WU - 0004698_00120 stuck at 99.999% complete. It's been like that (.001% to go) for about 10 hours, with a total runtime of over 20 hours. Yesterday, the same thing happened, and I suspended and restarted it, thinking that might get it to finish, instead it started over from scratch. Should I just abort this one, and go ahead with others in the queue?

If it's running under Windows on an Intel iGPU or an AMD APU, it's simplest to abort it and remove that device from your device profile for OPNG. There's a problem with AutoDock (the Scripps Institute science application) which prevents it running to completion on those slow devices.

Thanks. Yes, I should have noted that, it is an Intel iGPU. My mom's machine, however, uses a similar Intel iGPU and has no problems like this...

It will eventually time out, so you may as well chop it now.
I gave my Intel GPU 6 units and it errored all 6 so I gave up trying. Mike |

Yes - it's the slower devices (roughly i5 and below) that have the problem. i7 and above are mostly all right. There is a work-round which cures it, but it's risky and I'm not posting details in public.

Well, it's now reading 100% percent finished... but keeps on crunching. I suppose at this point, it's a rounding error. I am reminded of Zeno's Paradox, in which the arrow shot from a bow never reaches the target because there's always another fraction of the way to go. Thanks for the advice, Richard and Mike.
