Is there an update on the issue of device name changes?

I changed my device name about a year ago and it hasn't updated in devices, but is updated in the results sections. I know this is a known issue but thought (perhaps optimistically) that it would be resolved by now.

i do agree with you. §as a new user, after some days of crunching is a very bad experience to see contributions, running time and devices all setoto zero.

Most of my devices is missing - 6 of them, contribution is missing from those devices. Old devices not active in years show contribution ...
Is the device issues caused by all the changes made during the long downtime or is the server doing the device bookkeeping not active yet?

History show my servers did 123 jobs 2025-01-11. Checking the logs for just one (1) of my servers show it did 603 WCG jobs that day so something is very wrong making the contribution info page as it is now useless.

I have two machines:
* one that has been calculating without a problem for a very long time
* a new one installed a week ago.
On the latter, it was impossible to get any tasks and it didn't appear in the devices after installation. After 2 days, everything unblocked at the same time.
I had to reinstall it 3 days ago, but since then it still doesn't appear in the devices and I've only had a handful of tasks. All have been completed and appear in the results, most are awaiting validation but a few have been validated. However, even forcing the WCG project update (Open Pandemics, Open Pandemics GPU , Africa Rainfall and Mapping Cancer Markers projects), it's impossible to get new ones while my old machine is continuously powered.
The only difference I can see is that the new one accepts GPU tasks and the old one doesn't.
How can I at least get some tasks?
