De-select ARP in the profile(s) and "If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project.".

Paul.


Sadly that’s likely to result in an empty buffer, it looks like ARP is the only type available.

Certainly not. There are plenty of MCM1 and OPN1 WUs available, though since Friday with a heavy dose of download errors to keep things interesting. Or not.

I'm also seeing download errors that are preventing me from running any tasks. How hard can it be to get this fixed?

If the situation is as per the post I was responding to then there was a temp outage of all other wu types and this is certainly what I was seeing reported at the time.

Hi Cyclops,

Please note that all the ARP tasks I received have 3-day deadlines, instead of the normal 5-day deadlines, even though they all have -0 or -1 at the end of their identifiers, which should indicate that they are initial runs, not repeats.

It would be nice to know the full names of the tasks, so that Cyclops can see their generations, or to provide the URLs of the workunits, so that Cyclops doesn't have to guess what is going on. devilish

These are all gen 127, a generation in catch-up so gets short deadlines having been re-issued after stalling with all failing.

I have a standard, rather small buffer on all my hosts, and there was not an outage of any significance beside those that are known to not sending out. And MCM1 and OPN1 always had an ample supply, just on Friday those dreaded download errors started again, right for the weekend and are still ongoing../

Yeah, the return of ARP units seems to have caused the download issues to reappear as well. Bummer.

They stated in a prior update that the download issue wasn't due to the internet connection speed/capacity.

Yes, I remember this statement - it was 3 or 4 months ago. They said it was "a ghost" cool
