Any update on when we will be getting new OPN1 and OPNG tasks for the protease PLPro?

too bad that no one bothers to answer your question sad
I am more and more wondering whether the project team is at all interested in us volunteers ???

I am more and more wondering whether the project team is at all interested in us volunteers ???
Yeah, the feedback is not what one would expect, that's for sure. I'm really only interested in running OPNG tasks. Until they come back, I'll only run a couple of MCM1 tasks/day, and then it's sleeping time for my computers. Not interested in any other BOINC project.

If they are going to run new proteins with OPN and OPNG, I wonder if they're planning on some BETA work first, before the full release?

Many questions, few if any answers.

Yeah, the feedback is not what one would expect, that's for sure..
Well, the at times tardy response from Krembil aside, the post from Cyclops just before the holidays states very clearly that the "timeout" of OPNx WUs is due to work to be done by the projects researchers themselves, so this is not a Krembil.WCG issue as they have to wait for info from said researchers as well.
And in case someone missed it, between Dec 21st and now, there have been quite a few holidays in between, in various forms, so this isn't the most responsive time of the year to begin with....

Just got 6 OPN1 Wu's(0127419 batch) and even some ARP1(gen,135 and 136), some problem downloading, we have work!!😁

Interesting, I just checked and I got 29 OPN1 WUs across 5 or 6 hosts...

On the bad side, I see a boatload of download errors in the logs of those hosts, of both OPN1 and MCM1 downloads... crying

Let's just hope that the techs at WCG can get on this quick before history starts to repeat itself... sad

I can almost feel that history will repeat itself, and the whole site will come crashing down again, pretty soon. And as usual, all this transient crap, happens as soon as they start releasing more than a few OPN1 and ARP tasks.

There is definitely a theme developing across Boincland, Climate Prediction on hold due to upload errors, Rosetta in abeyance with download errors and now WCG stuck with download errors - surely comes cannot be that difficult!

My development laptop has been getting download errors since 11am local time, with no new downloads are being requested because "downloads are being stalled".

Yes, it looks like history is repeating itself and the next s**tstorm is brewing...

I send an email with a copy of the log of that laptop to support@worldcommunitygrid.org, which clearly shows the time when this started to happen. Let's hope they are able (and willing to get on this quick), but so far, their track record just isn't that stellar.... sad
