Hello, maybe this question has been asked before but I don't have time to find it.
Why I am not getting new task for a while. my computer is sitting idle when it could be solving for the next cure. |

My BOINC Manager log shows WU available for 'other platforms' (GPU), but nothing for CPU, so I get nothing. Has a decision been made to only run GPU? If so, I need to find another project to support.

No problems at all to get new CPU tasks for me. So far today, I've been getting 22 "new" tasks, and 27 "resends".
----------------------------------------No decision has been made to only run tasks on the GPU, other than for OPN, which now only run OPNG tasks. But OPNG is on a pause now. "Other platforms" does not mean GPU's, but it means other Operating Systems, than the one you are running. For example if you run Windows, it means that it for the moment could be tasks available for Linux, but not for Windows, (or the other way around, depending upon which system you are running.) No new tasks for either Windows or Linux this morning. However Denis@home had work units so my machines are not idle.

I am getting a few tasks.
It looks like the catch-up of the completed MCM tasks is making progress. Perhaps that's still taking the majority of the system resources and when it's complete there will be more tasks available. |

Hello all,
The tech team are currently working on fixing an issue with the createWork process, which is responsible for the shortage in WUs at this time. In attempting to fix this issue, the feeder went down temporarily yesterday. The tech team will provide an update about this issue soon. |
