For what it's worth, I received an ARP project last night (Jan. 22) and sent it back this morning (Jan. 23). Unfortunately, the project has just started returning a "Server can't open database" error. I got my first one at 20:33 UTC, if that helps anyone. Confirmed: Just noticed message at 21:30 UTC. Since it is Saturday, I don't expect to see a resolution to this problem until sometime Monday. I was able to report finished units but not get any new ones. Queue should run out in a couple of hours. Cheers

Same sort of reply from the project here. Mine says Server Error: Feeder not Running. Sounds like a generic error notification signifying that either or both the server that gives out WU's or accepts finished ones isn't online. I have finished WU's that the project isn't accepting, so that server is apparently not operating. I have plenty yet to do, so no problem there, but just wanted to let everyone know-

It seems all working to me.
----------------------------------------The only "trick" that I use to receive new WCG WUs is to suspend other projects. When I have downloaded the new WUs from WCG, I restart the other ones. ;-)  |

A lot seems to have been fixed. I seem to be getting download speeds 10-100 times previously.

Somebody should give the MCM feeder(s) a kick. I have one system dry and one which is at 50% of queue. One system seems to be staying almost current. I get a lot of the "tasks are committed to other platforms" messages, which I find a bit strange because the message appears on both the Windows and Linux machines.

I suspect that the feeders are being loaded at intervals and running out in between. Mike There is something going on. The MCM returns for Feb 12 are 70,000 below the Feb 11 and the ARP returns are up by 6,000. Without knowing exactly what is happening on the feeder side I would be loathe to speculate, but maybe there was a conscious decision to alter the availability of each of the two projects currently available. On a global basis total run time is only down about 2 years. Maybe one of the techs will enlighten us. Edit 13:50 UTC: Now I am getting the message that the the downloads are failing for MCM. The project communication failed. Internet access OK - The servers may be down. Something not good is happening. Cheers
