Well... thanks to the 4th WU being sent out accidently on 7/28, and then intentionally on 8/3 for the new FAAH BOINC binaries. It does makes for pretty graphs. smile

Re: Team Progress!

thirty million team points!

I aim to please. I'm still waiting for my dual Xeon 5160 system though. wink

Ya know what's really cool though is when you look at the device stats and see a single system that is over 1 million points. My Xeon 900 MHz 8-way server has generated 2,306 results, 1,060,035 BOINC points, and 4:012:09:23:59 run time.... all since I moved it to BOINC back in February. The same system system ran UD for about a month and a half before BOINC, and generated 79 results, 31,629 points, and 0:046:09:07:28 run time with UD. biggrin

...My Xeon 900 MHz 8-way server...

Does each processor crunch a WU? I know my HT and D processors do two at a time... I can't imagine eight at a time. What OS? *nix?

Yep... with BOINC all 8 processors are doing 1 WU each.. and 12 GB of oooold PC100-R memory. LOL I have another system with 8 700 MHz Xeons.... and 2 with 8 old 550 Mhz Xeons. That's it for 8-ways...

I do have 2 4-Way Xeons (2.0 and 1.6 GHz) that have HT, so they are virtual 8-ways. I know some folks don't run HT on the grid, but hey... if it helps just a widdle bit, it's good for me.

What OS? *nix?

LOL. Nope... Winderz... 2003... Enterprise.

A couple of my blades are over 800,000 points... dual 3.2 GHz Xeons with HT. biggrin

Re: Team Progress!

You may not gain much with HT (if anything at all, perhaps even lose some), but it is cool to see 2 WUs crunching at once.

Sounds like time to order an 8-way Xeon with dual cores ;)
