We've made it to the shortest day here in the Northern Hemisphere
----------------------------------------![]() Thank goodness I hate those dark nights (Sorry Vialls, VUJ, Fanie, Windflowers enjoy the sun while you can ![]() ![]() Dave Bell will tell you that the first MOT Web Page consisted entirely of our yellow headed happy chap. A page full of those and you could get a tan just looking at it. For the full effect and a great cure for SAD take a look at this page http://82.163.156.92/smiley.htm Just remember to put on your shades first ![]() ![]() |

Good Morning All, at least it is still morning here in North Carolina and my first cup of coffee is still in front of me. Looks like Graham was up bright and early -- wonder what the graphics wizzard will come up with after such an early start.
Dave, I wish I could send you some of my very hoppy pale ale -- maybe that would help with the cold. I know that it would have helped had you been here when I brewed it. I think you could smell the hops in the boil all through the apartment building. Since it would be rather difficult for you to have one of mine, I hope you find something to give you relief from your cold. Believe me when I tell you I know it isn't fun to be laid up as the holidays approach. The equinox is upon us. Here in Raleigh, sunrise was at 7:21 AM and sunset will be 5:05 PM giving us a total of 9 hrs, 44 minutes of daylight. Over there in London, UK, the day is much shorter. Sunrise was at 8:23 AM and sunset will be 3:21 PM giving a total of only 6 hrs, 58 minutes of daylight! Amazing what about 18 degrees of latitude will do. I can now see what motivated Dave to create the original MOT home page -- LOL. The recovery from my surgery seems to have leaped forward quite a bit yesterday and I am feeling a lot better today. The pain has now subsided for the most part and all I usually feel is just discomfort. Time to pour another cup of coffee. I hope everyone has a delightful day. |

It's steady as she goes with 1,056,596 points in the bag in the last 4 days
----------------------------------------![]() RetiredPB must count as the unluckiest cruncher of the day with 99,996 - 4 points short of the magic 6 figure sum. My mate Jonathon has repeated RetiredPB's trick up near the 1/2 Mill mark 48 points short. Graham I hope you have those certificates at the ready tomorrow nights the night 3/4 of the way to 100 Million doesn't seem so far away now. Almost a team record on the results front I've seen a whole load of short HPF WU's pass by today way down on the 24hrs+ we've been experiencing recently. I think we need a bit more oomph to get to the 2 million a week output level Any volunteers? Come and join the top team team team - you know what I mean ![]() We might be 4th on the grid but we're No1 in heart Night all Dave ![]() ![]() |
