lawrencehardin, perhaps we can further "boil" this down. I am quite sure that I would get many questions after posting your instructions.
----------------------------------------I *think* that this can be done easier. Just join WCG (without having to down load any software). Go to Boinc and get the right install for your OS platform. Hi Johnny Cool,
I just checked some web pages that I had not really noticed before. On the Home Page, there is a list of URLs, starting with 'Become a member'. Click on 'Become a member' and you go to the 'Join Now' page which lists some downloads and then 'Already a BOINC user? Click here to start using BOINC at World Community Grid!'. This takes you to the 'Download Software' page which offers several options. The last one is 'Click Here if you have already downloaded the BOINC Agent' which is the one to choose if you have already downloaded the Mac OS X BOINC client. This is not an easy trail to find. I think some website redesign is called for. But perhaps I am the only one who finds this confusing? Lawrence |

----------------------------------------It's funny you should mention this, as we are currently in the process of tearing these pages apart and reassembling them in a manner that is "easy" to follow. It may be a little while before they're finalized, but we know it's not exactly the easiest thing in the world.  And I don't know nothing 'bout no Mac. I swear. It's new.
The stage scenery is being shifted every time the curtains go up. Way to go for the back stage crew! |

The web page is new. I assume (without knowing for sure) that the Mac OS X client is the current recommended standard GUI version at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php
